Shipping policy

Rod Shipping

Fishing rods don't ship like normal packages.

Our rods are shipped in oversized, reinforced boxes designed to prevent breakage in transit. While the rods themselves are lightweight, the packaging required to ship them safely is not — and carriers charge a premium for oversized rod shipments.

All shipments include insurance covering the full value of the contents. We ship using Pirate Ship–discounted UPS services.

Shipping Options

Select your preferred shipping method at checkout:

  • Standard Shipping — $29.00 — Your rod ships on the next available Saturday. Orders placed after Friday at midnight CST ship the following Saturday.
  • Expedited Pickup — $38.74 — Your rod ships within 2–3 business days via UPS scheduled pickup from our location.
  • Local Pickup — Free — Pick up your rod by appointment. We'll contact you to schedule after your order is placed.

Local Delivery

We offer personal delivery within our local area:

  • 0–50 miles — $25.00 (minimum $150 order)
  • 50–100 miles — $45.00 (minimum $150 order)

Available Thursdays and Sundays all day, Saturdays after 2:00 PM, and weekday evenings after 5:30 PM.

Fulfillment & Lead Times

In-stock rods are processed and shipped on Saturdays when possible. Occasional weeks may ship on a different day due to personal obligations. We will always communicate any delay.

Preorder fulfillment typically runs 3–5 weeks after the applicable build run enters production. Additional time may be needed to assemble and schedule the build run before production begins.

Custom builds have no guaranteed fulfillment timeframe. We will communicate with you throughout the process. For full custom build terms, see our Custom Rod Build page.
